Date: April 19, 2008
The 16th Annual Firebird Auction, "New York, New York", was a huge
success. All who attended feasted on the wonderful food presented by Les
Friedman of Colleen's Restaurant. Fabulous entertainment, as usual, was
provided by Mrs. Beth Vilsmeir and the HGP Music Department. As an added
feature we were treated to performances by Mr. John DiGiesi (aka "The
Piano Man") and the very talented Manfredi family). The LIVE auction
became a show in itself as our charity auctioneer and her team provided
some surprising antics in enticing bidders. The highlight of the LIVE, as
always, was our own, Mr. Ryan Abramson, our Master of Ceremony.
